Welcome to Working Technologies Developer Academy page. We have established this Academy in response to a critical shortage of skilled Java Developers in South Africa, as well as the rest of the world. As passionate users and teachers of Java, with a wealth of programming experience, we believe it is our responsibility to develop the skills of those who want to build a career in Java development. Our vision is to create excellence in the field of Enterprise Development, Implementation and Architecture through people, passion and practice
Why is there a need for such an Academy?
According to an ITWeb survey, there are an estimated 70 000 skilled I.T professionals needed in South Africa going into 2009. With between 3000 and 5000 I.T Students graduating annually from the various I.T Academies around the country, you do the math.
What we offer:
Currently, we offer an intensive 5 month Java programming certificate with the objective of taking basic computer literate people and developing them into Productive Fit-for-Purpose Java developers.
